Startup marketing and product leader. I've also served on 10 nonprofit boards and had the chance to speak at 80 conferences.
Some of my favorite career moments:
-Founded a program called Startup Women at Techstars that went global encouraging women to start tech companies across the world.
-Advised the White House on innovation under Obama.
-Led marketing at Decide.com and helped sell the company to eBay.
-Spent a year leading the accelerator program at Madrona Venture Labs, a VC firm that was the first investor at Amazon.
-Started an edtech startup that was featured on NBC, CBS, Good Morning America, Bloomberg that helped thousands during the pandemic when schools shut down.
-Launched Nordstrom's first app and led their first ever digital media team.

My career has been focused on the intersection of innovation, communications, and community impact. I launched Nordstrom's first app, led their innovation lab, launched Nordstrom's social media team, served as VP of Marketing and Research at AI startup Decide.com, served as VP of Startup Weekend (Techstars), and most recently was a Partner at Madrona Venture Labs. In 2019, I also founded a technology company that pivoted to help thousands of families during the pandemic - WEEKDAYS.
I spent nine years on the local NPR board of directors and have served on 10 other nonprofit boards throughout my career. In 2014, I was an advisor to The White House on digital initiatives. I've had the chance to speak at more than 50 conferences on media, tech, innovation and marketing.
