About me
Ms. Vrudhula leads an innovation team at Snowflake focused on developing solutions for customers which accelerate the adoption of new product capabilities related to data applications, data science, data collaboration, and data modernization. Prior to Snowflake, Padmaja spent nearly a decade at VMware in a variety of functions. She led VMware’s Modern Applications Platform business unit to build a product for the migration and maintenance of heritage applications onto a Kubernetes platform. Previously, she was in VMware's Office of the CTO focused on incubation of new technologies.
She has over twenty years of engineering leadership, strategy consulting, and process management experience. Ms. Vrudhula’s industry experience encompasses retail, healthcare, life-sciences, high-tech, manufacturing, telecom, and financial services. She is a passionate technologist (with multiple patents), a process wonk (certified PMP, ITIL, Agile Scrum Master, Six-Sigma, BPM), organizational change management specialist, and an experienced product development leader.
Ms. Vrudhula holds an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business. She is currently concluding an MS in Electrical and Computer engineering, focusing in emerging technology (ML/AI, Quantum Computing).
Padmaja is a champion of women in technology and has spent the last decade working on models and processes which affect systemic change in enterprises in order to drive the participation of under-represented groups in technology.
